Yes — ceramic coating is significantly better than wax.
Wax typically lasts weeks to a few months, while ceramic coating chemically bonds to the paint and lasts years. Ceramic coating provides stronger gloss, better UV protection, easier cleaning, and far longer durability than traditional wax or sealants.
Does ceramic coating protect against rock chips?
No. Ceramic coating does not stop rock chips.
